    • Green-Duwamish Microbial Source Tracking Report
This report describes the results of a microbial source tracking project on the Green River.

    • Green-Duwamish Water Quality Statistical and Pollutant Loadings Analysis
Loading estimates for fecal coliform bacteria, E. coli, total phosphorus, orthophosphate phosphorus, nitrate+nitrite nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, total suspended solids, and total and dissolved copper, mercury, zinc and iron, were developed for different land cover types in the Green River watershed.

    • Habitat Inventory and Assessment of Three Sammamish River Tributaries
From August to November of 1999, King County conducted habitat assessments on Swamp, North, and Little Bear Creeks using methods derived from standard assessment protocols

    • Juanita Creek Inventory and Habitat Assessment
In August of 2000, habitat on Juanita Creek was assessed using methods derived from standard assessment protocols. The goals of the habitat assessment project for Juanita Creek were threefold: (1) characterize instream and riparian habitat quality– primarily for salmonids; (2) establish a baseline for future evaluation of trends in habitat quality and watershed function; and (3) provide information for process of prioritizing areas for restoration and preservation.

    • King County DNRP Performance Measures
King County is committed to creating a high performance organization that is accountable to the public we serve. As part of this commitment, the Department of Natural Resources and Parks is in its third year of measuring our performance and using this performance information to improve the environment and quality of life in King County.

    • Lake Washington Existing Conditions Report
The Water Quality Monitoring of Northern Lake Washington Streams Report summarizes 20 years of water quality data collected from stream sites, primarily in the northern Lake Washington basin.

    • Major Lakes Phytoplankton Sampling Techniques Comparison Study
The Major Lakes Phytoplankton Study was initiated in March 2003 and involved the collection of integrated composite samples of surface water for phytoplankton species identification, enumeration, and estimation of species-specific phytoplankton biovolume.

    • Mercer Island Streams Water Quality Report, 2003-2005
Report on the water quality of streams in 5 basins on Mercer Island, Washington

    • Mercer Island Streams Water Quality Report, 2006
Report on the water quality of streams in 5 basins on Mercer Island, Washington

    • Newaukum Basin Characterization Project Report
Report on the present conditions, ecological alterations and knowledge gaps, and anticipated future changes in the Newaukum Creek basin.

    • North Lake Washington Streams Report
As part of its mission to protect and restore water quality, the Water and Lands Resources Division studied water quality trends and conditions in Lake Washington from 1990 to 2001.

    • Phosphorus Transport Study
The objective of this study was to develop time series models describing stream water phosphorus concentration dependence on seasonal variations in stream baseflow, short term flow fluctuations, antecedent flow conditions, and rainfall.

    • Pilot Freshwater Mussel Survey in King County
Results of a pilot freshwater mussel survey in Bear Creek, Stossel Creek, and Covington Creek, King County, Washington State.

    • Sammamish River Corridor Action Plan
The plan focuses on the Sammamish River's role as a necessary migratory corridor for anadromous salmon in the Sammamish Watershed. Implementation of the plan, however, would benefit more than just salmon and a wide range of other wildlife; it would also enhance the river corridor's ability to serve as a place of pleasure and refuge for the surrounding human community.

    • Sammamish River Diel pH and Dissolved Oxygen Study
The Sammamish River has recently been the focus of a number of water quality studies, primarily due to the use of the river by Endangered Species Act (ESA) listed species of salmon.
