King County Marine Habitat Report

Prepared in Support of the Wastewater Treatment Division Habitat Conservation Plan and The Brightwater Marine Outfall Siting Study. 2001

This report presents life history and known distribution of marine species proposed for coverage under the County’s Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) in King County and southern Snohomish County. Distribution of various marine habitats within King County and southern Snohomish County that may be used by the marine species proposed for coverage are also documented. Species covered in this report include 6 marine mammals and birds, 7 salmonids, 2 lampreys, 2 invertebrates, 6 groundfish, 4 forage fish, and 14 rockfish.
