About this Document

High-frequency monitoring report coverIn November 2005, King County entered into a collaboration with the Seattle Aquarium and the private environmental monitoring company, YSI, in order to explore the feasibility of deploying a long-term high-frequency data collection system in Elliott Bay with the capability of reporting data via the internet in real-time. The test system was installed and operational on November 23, 2005 and dismantled on December 11, 2006. This report summarizes results of the Seattle Aquarium pilot monitoring project. An overview of the sampling area, methodology employed, parameters measured, and data collected is presented.
