The 2002/2003 Water Quality Status Report for Marine Waters summarizes the results of King County’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and ambient marine monitoring programs for 2002 and 2003. The report provides an overview of the sites monitored, matrices sampled (e.g. water, sediment, shellfish, macroalgae), parameters measured, and includes a summary of analytical results. In addition, 2002 water quality sampling results from the Marine Outfall Siting Study (MOSS) are also presented.
