Magnuson off-leash area is not a swimming beach and has no lifeguard on duty. The bacteria counts at this location are low, but there have been several reports of swimmer's itch at this location. The Seattle Parks Department has posted a warning at this location due to reports of swimmer's itch. Information on swimmer's itch is available in the site inks section of this web page.
